Nanjing Lukou International Airport
Located on Lukou Street in Jiangning District of Nanjing, the airport is about 35 km away from the downtown of the city. As one of the ten major airports in China, it enjoys the main air routes of the country. It is the main freight airport in east China. It serves as an alternate aerodrome for Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Pudong International Airport, and vice versa. It is a large hub airport and a regional air transport hub in China. At present, it has domestic flights to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Qingdao, Yantai, Changchun, Dalian, Harbin, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Shenzhen, Nanning, Haikou, Sanya, Chongqing and Kunming, etc., as well as international flights to Tokyo, Busan, Incheon, Frankfurt, Bangkok, Phuket, Sydney, Los Angeles and other cities.
Take regular bus from Nanjing Lukou International Airport to the city proper, railway station and surrounding places of Nanjing. There are special bus lines to various four- or five-star hotels and the main three-star hotels.
