Nanjing is a key railway transport hub for north China, east China and central China, and is the railway transport hub center in the eastern region of China. Nanjing Railway Station
Located in the north of the Ancient City of Jinling, Nanjing Railway Station is one of the major railway stations in Nanjing, accommodating the high-speed trains to Shanghai and Hangzhou and ordinary fast trains heading for various major cities in the country.

Nanjing South Railway Station
Located at Shanjialou, Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, the Nanjing South Railway Station is a passenger transport hub for the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, the Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu railway line for passenger traffic and the Nanjing-Anqing inter-city railway, and is also one of the five major starting stations for the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. It mainly takes charge of the high-speed railway transportation task. It has high-speed trains heading for Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jinan, Qingdao, Dalian, Chongqing, Hefei, Fuzhou, Wuhan and other major cities in China.
