The Nanjing Ming Dynasty City Wall Museum is a 0.6 kilometer-long moderately trafficked out and back trail that overlooks the Xuanwu Lake.
While on the wall, visitors can enjoy pictures and views of the city wall, surrounding mountains, forests and lakes. Centuries of history are engraved on every brick while modern city life gives an entirely new meaning to the wall.
In the exhibition hall, precious cultural relics, materials and ancient wall bricks are displayed. There is a display of the layout of the Nanjing City Wall in the museum, which presents in great detail the historical evolution and construction characteristics of the Nanjing City Wall, as well as its status and value in the history of Chinese and world cities.
